Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, Vol. 1 - CLAMP, Anthony Gerard

I am already a huge fan of Clamp, and have been dying to finish this manga for a while now...but of course, I completely forgot what happened, so I had to go back and restart from the beginning.

We are re-introduced to Sakura and Syoaran in Tsubasa, but not the popular ones we got to know in Cardcaptor Sakura. The new Syaoran and Sakura exist in another dimension, along with other popular characters from Cardcaptor Sakura. But when Sakura loses all her memories, Syaoran must journey through different dimensions to find them, along with his trusty sidekicks (haha) Mokona, Kurogane, and Fye.

Already, the characters in this story are wonderful. While I feel like I already know them from years of Cardcaptor Sakura, the addition of new characters such as Kurogane and Fye makes the story even more interesting, and adds layers of intrigue. The dynamic between Kurogane and Fye/Mokona is hilarious, and Sakura and Syaoran's relationship is beautiful already.

This volume ends in the Republic of Hanshin, where the search for the feather begins.
