I enjoyed this book much more than the first, probably because Mac isn't nearly as annoying as she was in the first book. She grows up a little more in this book and stops caring how she looks. She also becomes much more badass, which I enjoyed.
The book becomes much darker, though it claims to be about the light. Mac continues learning more and more about the world of the Fae. Jericho, V'lane and other new players continue to deliberately skirt around Mac's questions, making me crave even more about the world of Faery. And of course, Jericho and V'lane are as sexy as ever.
Overall, much better than Darkfever. I can't wait to read the next one!!
